Strawberries,
Cream too, please,
For our teas,
Feasting sprees,
Under trees!
Hot, clear day,
Children play,
Happy they,
Under spray,
Shriek hurray!

Sounds a little like our 4th of July traditions. Wish we still had strawberries in the garden…:)

Might have to make ‘do’ with ‘preserved’ or ‘canned’ strawberries… 😉

I do have some strawberry ice cream but I must watch my sugar intake so the fresh ones are the safer bet…:)

I do they are lovely! but my tuberous begonias take first prize. They are lovely and slowly taking over my little patio and decking it with their big, bright flowers! I am running out of things for them to trail across.
