Cruelly afflicted as an early teen,
Like blighted bud before there’s time to bloom,
Fair maiden, front uncertain days serene,
Negating any images of gloom;
An endless stream of prayers to Heaven flows
Imploring God your constant guard to be;
May He, who on His children grace bestows,
Attend to troubled hearts in charity;
Though dark and rocky be the road ahead,
Uncertain route as seen through human eyes,
Compounded by unhelpful sense of dread
And wonder what tomorrow may arise,
May faith in God of reassurance tell
Whatever future renders shall be well!

A tender sonnet and a beautiful bloom, as I suspect is your young friend.

another beautiful sonnet, this one is radiant in the truth it extols and the blessings it conveys. It reads like a prayer π
