Indeed…..One can spend hours watching them grazing the Moors. 🙂 Hugs!
saw some at Asbury I think it was when I was there.
Probably did….They do roam freely on the moors…. 😉 Hugs!
there was a fence between the meadow and the old buildings of the town
Have you sat and watched them on the Moors? 😉 Hugs!
Tender words for a lovely write.
Sheep knows that shepherd is going to take care 😀
Indeed…. What Will Be……Will Be….The Way of Nature! 😉 ❤
is it Avesbury?
Could have been Avesbury or Ailesbury…Two different Counties….No Moorland there, though. Plenty sheep, Yes! 😉
Avesbury. A very old town with a museum/visitors center. There were some ancient stones nearby. We had been to Stonehenge. I don’t know if we were in the Moors, but there were some hill croppings Carol was chatting about. The lambs we saw may have been in a farmer’s meadow…adjacent to Avesbury.
Ahhh, love the sheep! You capture the moors so well with your pics and wonderful poems.xxx
Peaceful place for a peaceful creature who doesn’t know his future.
