Seeping light pervades the still, crisp, early morning air,
Prompting feathered friends, their joyful songs to sing,
Stars retire to their haven in cloudless azure sky,
Cheerful creatures herald the dawn of New Spring!

Keep them wrapped up for a while; Winter loves to linger. 😉

I think it has more to do with advancing years than slow changes to the weather…:)

Spring enjoys playing tricks, though. My poppies are trying to come up and the maple trees are blossoming. This DOHA is lovely…I have not heard the term before. Nice rhythm… 🙂

we can have a heavy frost as late as May 20…so it is said. We had apple trees, and some years held our breath near the end of the flowering stage. The trees were most threatened at that certain point of blossoming.
