Why ‘alas’? I thought it was an expression of regret. Nothing further from this wonderful reminder that Sunday roasts are one of life’s little big pleasures…

I can relate to the “Alas” because it reminds me of an old commercial line, “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing!” That picture makes me drool..:)
