Dancing raindrops echo dust
On the red brown earth,
Arid plants respond in trust,
Welcome, end to dearth –
Promise of rebirth!

Do you use a special lens to catch rain drops so well?I agree with Gill,it’s lovely.:)xx

Thanks Kate! No, no special lens. Settings macro and then hold as still and steady very close to object. Also some fine tuning in Picasa Editor. 😋

I like the ‘promise of re birth’ I was thinking this morning as I listened to the rain….aren’t we fortunate to have it…..In California a four year drought, and in many other places as well. Enjoy the day. xxx

Thanks Janet! Yes, we do not always appreciate the obvious – easier to complain rather than compliment and be thankful. May your day go well. Hugs. ❤️

It could be an Aussie poem, red soil et al, however it’s not a nation given to delicate odes like this. Mate!
